Dec. 12, 2024—Bridgeland High School junior Chloe Cheatham and Cypress Falls High School senior Ava LeBlanc were among 10 student athletes named to the Texas High School Coaches Association’s (THSCA) Class 6A Water Polo Super Elite Team.

The THSCA Super Elite Team recognizes the top ten student athletes across the state of Texas for exemplary athletic achievement in their respective sport.

Bridgeland High School junior Chloe Cheatham was among 10 student athletes named to the 2024-2025 Texas High School Coaches Association’s Class 6A Girls Water Polo Super Elite Team.

“We are extremely proud of both Chloe and Ava on being named to the THSCA Super Elite Team,” said Jonathan Mayer, CFISD director of aquatics. “The list is comprised of the 10 most outstanding water polo players from the entire state. Having two from CFISD is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the quality of water polo in our district. Congratulations to both student-athletes along with their respective coaches; Coach Perkins from Bridgeland and Coach Bricarell from Cy Falls.”
