History

Cypress Falls High School opened in 1992 becoming the fourth addition to the Cypress Fairbanks ISD high schools. George Hopper opened the school as the first principal on August 24, 1992 to approximately 1400 sophomores and freshmen. At the time, Cy Falls was one of the largest high schools in Texas with 495,000 square feet and a location of 50 acres. 

The school's motto is "Eagles Exemplify Excellence."
