Athletes sign during early signing period

Nov. 13, 2014—Many CFISD athletes signed letters of intent to play collegiate athletics for colleges or universities on the first day of the early signing period, Nov. 12. More signings will continue through next week.

The following CFISD athletes signed or plan to sign letters of intent:

Cy-Fair High School

  • Bryson Lockley, men’s basketball, Santa Clara University;
  • Ashlynn Peters, diving, Virginia Tech University;
  • Johnny Rizer, baseball, University of Louisiana-Lafayette;
  • Merris Schroder, women’s basketball, University of Alabama; and
  • Brynae Thompson, women’s basketball, Northwestern State University.

Cypress Creek High School

  • Meia Gordon, track and field, University of Oklahoma.

Cypress Falls High School

  • Shae Chapman, volleyball, Georgia State University; and
  • Dominique Tello, softball, Texas Southern University.

Cypress Lakes High School

  • Jessica Duckett, track and field, Tulane University;
  • Nick Garth, men’s basketball, Lamar University; and
  • Tomar Thomas, volleyball, Lamar University.

  • Lauren Becker, softball, Tyler Junior College;
