Credit Recovery Options

If your student is in need of credit recovery options, please review the following options and contact your student's counselor for more information and next steps. 

 

CFISD Summer School: 

• For general information (registration fee, date, time, and location) please click here.

• Must see your counselor to pre-register. 

• Scholarship options may be available. Please see your counselor for more information. 

 

Credit By Exam (CBE):

• Make-up Credit (Failed a previous course) - Must earn a 70+

• Original Credit (Has never taken the course before) - Must earn 80+

 

Correspondence: 

• Online courses through Texas Tech or UT Austin. 

• Students are only allowed to earn 2 credits through correspondence.
